They say only the bravest warriors ever return from the Mountains and if you ask them what happened there they will say nothing. However the look of abject fear and insanity in their eyes will tell you all you need know. So go if you dare, and find what awaits you in the Mountains of Madness!

Well that was fun!

Warriors! We welcome you to join us again at our mountain stronghold for great fighting, feasting, and probably other things too I couldn't think a good way to finish the sentence that didn't sound weird. weird right?!

We had such a great time doing this last year we decided to do it again! Only bigger and better this time.

Last year we had an awesome bridge battle on an actual bridge! The woods battle was epic! Lots of great single combat and training groups too.

This year we have a grand melee planed for the big battle field, we'll be doing the bridge battle again and we've upgraded the woods battle to better accommodate more fighters.

We also have a couple great new games for you this year!

The Battlecoin Challenge! and the Clan Chest competition!

So why are you calling it a market?

Well because we encourage you to sell your wares in your camps! We aren't going to have a vendors row or vendor registration nor do we ask for any of your proceeds. Bring your gear and display however you choose.

We also encourage anyone that wishes to demo or teach a class of their craft to do so.

We will be hosting a feast on Saturday night and of course there will be "Bjorn's F'n Oatmeal" in the mornings as well as other nibbles.

On Saturday after breakfast we would like to take anyone who wants to come up to Wayah Bald (about 20 mins from site) for some photo opportunities on the highest point in the Smoky Mountains.

Remember the closest store is 30 minutes away so make sure to bring whatever food and drink you will need. There is no cell service on site but we know where the closest area that has service is so if you need to make a call just ask a member of Fjalland where to go. Feast night is Saturday which is the only provided full meal however there will be small foods, snacks, and water available throughout the event. Weapons check is friday before fighting starts.

Thursday is check in and setup. Fridays schedule is training in the morning and woods battle in the afternoon. Saturdays schedule is Wayah Bald photo op, morning training, final fights for the the Battle Coin Challenge, final battles for the Clan Chest, Grand Mele in the large battle field, and feast night. Sunday has morning training and pack out.

Be sure to bring your printed registration to the troll pavilion to check in upon arrival where you will be directed where to unload and park. Cant wait to see you there!
